Is Tailwind App Worth It? My Honest Review and Experience

Ghostwriter AI
Ghostwriter AI is supposed to be a versatile writing tool that streamlines content creation.
While trying this feature, I found several tools. In essence, you could create social media posts, video scripts, email copy, headlines, blog posts, SEO copy, and even handle tasks like article rewriting and proofreading.
If you’re running adverts to promote your business, Ghostwriter AI can also help you generate compelling copy for your campaigns.
In my experience with Ghostwriter AI, I found its functionality to be a bit mixed.
When I first used the “Facebook post from blog/article” feature to generate a post based on one of my blog articles, I encountered an error.
However, I tried another approach. This time, i tried generating a Facebook post using a descriptive keyword, and the result was clean and satisfactory.
Still curious though, I decided to push the limits and generate Pinterest pins from a URL. The results were satisfactory.
Although it may not be flawless at first, but with a little bit of experimentation, it can be a valuable asset for content creation.
Tailwind Create
Tailwind Create is another Tailwind app feature that I love. It allows users to create visual content across Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.
It offers flexibility in how you source your images—you can upload your own, use Ghostwriter AI to generate images, or import them from a URL. If you’re in need of stock photos, Tailwind Create has you covered there as well.
Once you’ve selected your visuals, you can easily add text, adjust colors, and incorporate your branding into the design.
One of the standout features of Tailwind Create is its ability to automatically resize your designs to fit the specific dimensions required by each platform.
When I first tried Tailwind Create, I was impressed by how quickly it generated hundreds of posts with a single command.
These posts were not just quick drafts—they were high-quality designs, nearly ready to be published on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.
All they needed was a little fine-tuning, and they were good to go. This tool really streamlines the content creation process, making it easier to maintain a consistent and professional presence across your social media platforms.
SmartSchedule
Tailwind’s SmartSchedule is believed to help us optimize the scheduling of social media posts, particularly for platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.
According to Tailwind, this feature is designed to automatically select the best times to post based on audience engagement data to ensure that content reaches followers when they are most likely to interact with it.
But wait! Are they spying on me?
Well, either when signing up for Tailwind, or when connecting your social media account, you give Tailwind permission to access your social media account. – But don’t worry, everything is safe.
Since Tailwind has authorized access to your social media accounts, it can read you and pull data from there, including analytics data.
When trying to schedule a post on Pinterest, I discovered another feature that i like to call Interval Pinning.
This can help you space out your pin on Pinterest, and avoid the risk of being flagged for spamming.

Email Marketing Solution
With Email Marketing provision, Tailwind extends its capabilities beyond social media. This feature offers a comprehensive tool for managing and automating email campaigns with ease.
At first, this didn’t make sense to me because I’ve always thought of Tailwind as a social media scheduling tool. – And now, email marketing?
But then, I remembered that Tailwind promises a platform that feels like a marketing team!
The email marking feature of Tailwind allows users can upload their contact lists, making it easy, especially for those coming from other platforms. If prefer a more hands-on approach, contacts can also be added manually, allowing for precise control over your mailing list.
In my experience with Tailwind app, creating automated email sequences is straightforward.
In fact, when trying this feature out, I had to pick a marketing goal to help Tailwind understand how to assist me build my automation.
Once i pick a goal, Tailwind generates a basic template that i can edit to my taste.
Tailwind also allows for significant customization within your emails. You can easily add your branding elements—like logos, color schemes, and custom templates—to ensure that every email perfectly reflects your brand’s identity.
Another useful feature is the ability to send emails from multiple sender domains. This is particularly useful if you manage different brands or need to send emails from various business addresses.

My experience with Tailwind App
Using Tailwind has been a big game-changer for me when it comes to managing and scheduling my social media posts in advance.

Nevertheless, if you prefer self-guided learning through articles and videos then there might still be useful resources provided by Tailwind that can help maximize its benefits.

Is Tailwind worth it?
I’ve been using Tailwind for a while, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for managing both my Instagram and Pinterest strategies.
The AI tools, particularly Ghostwriter, are impressive—it feels like having a team that comes up with creative and fresh ideas. For anyone looking to optimize their social media, the convenience of AI support can’t be overstated.
However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. I’ve encountered a few technical glitches that left me feeling frustrated, to say the least. And the customer support? Let’s just say it can sometimes feel a bit mechanical.
That said, the pricing flexibility is a big plus. I started with the free version just to see how it worked and soon upgraded because the value was clear. The time savings alone make it worth the investment.
